Some people in africa tried to keep cheethas as pets. If they got them at a realy young age they would be able to tame them, but theres always as good chance that tthe annimal would attack its you. most of the time wen people owned a cheetha it was because they would let it mature, then kill it for its fur in the end.
They also keeped elephants as pets, they were used to move heavy logs most people couldnt carry.
