Egyptians had many pets . the most common pets that they had were birds such as noopoes, cats, dogs, gazelles, and monkeys.

The most owened from all these pets was the dog and the cat. the breed of dog that the Egyptians keeped was a breed called "Ibizan Hound", and was treated like a part of the fammily, and was sometimes giving human names, these breed af dog was keeped because of there even temper and the hunting skills it had by nature. The breed of cat most owened was the "Mau", and was always owened by women and was treated like royalty this breed of cat was keeped because of its delightful personality and its beuatiful apperance.
